In the past 40 years of reform and opening up, great changes have taken place in our country, which can be described from a number of perspectives. After the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, I entered the Policy Research Office of the Jiangsu Province. Before I left the front-line post, I served as the main leader of the Federation of Industry and Commerce of Jiangsu Province for a long time. Combined with my own work experiences, I understand the reform and opening up from the perspective of the development of private economy, and examine the private economy from the overall situation of reform and opening up. I think the logical relationship between them is very close. It can be said that private economy is a symbol of reform and opening up. If we analyze the changes before and after the reform and opening up, we can find a most obvious sign, which is, before the reform and opening up, there is no private economy, while after the reform, there is one. And the development of private economy and the deepening of reform and opening up are completely synchronized. In conclusion, firstly, the private economy comes from the needs of the people. Secondly, the vitality of private economy has promoted the ownership reform. Thirdly, private economy pushes forward the establishment of market system.
