The schedule and roadmap of the construction of China's ecological civilization correspond to the two stages of building China into a modern socialist country in all respects proposed by the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Our task of building a beautiful China is also divided into two stages. The first stage of the construction of ecological civilization refers to basically realizing socialist modernization by 2035. It requires that the quality of ecological environment should be fundamentally improved, and the goal of building a beautiful China should be basically realized. The second stage of the construction of ecological civilization is to develop China into a great modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious, and beautiful by 2050. The construction of ecological civilization should achieve harmonious coexistence of human and nature, and build a beautiful China. This time, it is proposed that solving the prominent ecological and environmental problems is regarded as the priority area of people's livelihood. On one side, it is clear that ecology is the biggest livelihood problem. More importantly, the prominent ecological livelihood problems are moved forward, even to a more important position than other livelihood problems such as education, employment, medical treatment and health.
