Since the reform and opening up, with the rapid development of urbanization in China, the space for urban construction expands, and many rural-urban borders are eroded. With a large number of farmers being moved away from rural to urban areas and becoming landless peasants, the problem about landless peasants gradually become an important problem that needs to be solved to improve the quality of urbanization. Under the background of new urbanization, it is an important measure to improve the quality of urbanization by promoting the process of “people-oriented” citizenization, and the core of realizing the citizenization process of landless peasants is improving their life satisfaction. Taking Xianlin Village in Nanjing as the study area, and obtaining the relevant data through the questionnaire survey on landless peasants, this article constructs an index system to measure the life satisfaction of landless peasants based on the existing research results, and analyzes the influencing factors. The results show that the life satisfaction of landless peasants in Xianlin Village is not high, and the average score is only 64.90. In addition, based on the factor analysis, it is found that the economic factors have no significant effect on their life satisfaction, while the impacts of land acquisition and demolition process, government role, community environment and personal perception are more significant.
