At present, the biggest problem faced by China's rural areas is that in the process of the largest scale urbanization in history, with hundreds of millions of rural population migrating to cities, especially the main labor force, the hollowing out and marginalization of rural areas in China is becoming more and more severe. Therefore, we should change the one-way flow of urban and rural population, create a two-way flow mechanism of urban residents to flow backwards to rural areas, and re-gather rural popularity, so as to provide the greatest support for the rural revitalization strategy, that is, to open up the way for urban population, especially the urban middle class, to flow to the rural areas. The "return to the countryside" of the urban retired middle class can not only solve the biggest problem encountered in the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy-the hollowing out of the countryside, but also bring the scarcest capital and wealth for the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, which will make city's trillions of private capital invested in the new rural construction on a large scale, and each year, it will bring more than one trillion yuan of new consumption to the countryside. Therefore, to implement the national strategy for rural revitalization, the greatest potential and support lies in the cities, and the most promising group is the urban retired middle class.
