Release time:2018-08-20Author: Yu Xiulan & Jia Liangding

The competition crisis for high-level talents in Jiangsu is divided into two aspects: the attraction of top domestic college talents and the attraction of overseas returnees and international talents. Among them, the former includes only two universities in the first-class universities and disciplines of the world in Jiangsu, and from junior college to doctoral degree, the higher the degree, the lower the proportion of staying. What's more, Jiangsu is not optimistic about attracting C9 college graduates other than Nanjing University graduates, and Jiangsu also has the problem that the number of employment is obviously insufficient. Meanwhile, the latter shows through data that Jiangsu is clearly lagging behind in attracting overseas returnees and international talents. The reasons for the competition crisis of high-level talents in Jiangsu are the shortage of top institutions which can bring high-level talents with high development and high income, and the regional innovation market environment that attracts high-level talents needs to be improved. Therefore, in order to deal with this crisis, Jiangsu should develop and attract first-class enterprises, improve the regional market environment for innovation and entrepreneurship, upgrade the level of first-class universities, and promote the positive interaction between universities and the economy.
