In order to build an independent and controllable modern industrial system of Jiangsu Province, we still need to start from the international division of labor, take both the national demand and our province's advantages into consideration, and select some industries and industrial chain links to make concentrated breakthroughs.At present, the key points for Jiangsu Province to build an independent and controllable modern industrial system mainly lie in the following aspects. Firstly, we should make efforts to optimize the spatial layout of the modern industrial system. Secondly, we should guide the best and most powerful enterprises to join the key areas. Thirdly, we should coordinate the collaborative development of modern industrial system. Fourthly, we should choose several industrial chain links to implement the strategy of equal market power.
