Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the method of promoting the development of regional integration to improve the overall development level has gradually occupied an important position in China's economic development policy. President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the first China International Import Expo, announcing that the whole country would support the development of regional integration in the Yangtze River Delta and upgrade it to a national strategy.The idea of integration in the Yangtze River Delta has a long history, and has gradually entered a new stage in the historical process. Important gains have been made in interconnection, ecological protection, industrial innovation, market reforms, public services and so on.The path to promote the high-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta includes: firstly, give full play to the leading role of Shanghai and build a basic regional cooperation pattern of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui, in which these three provinces are able to carry forward their own strengths; secondly, combine the construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt as well as the Belt and Road Initiative; thirdly, replicate and promote the achievements of the reform and innovation in the Yangtze River Delta; fourthly, promote the integrated linkage of major reform initiatives; fifthly, clarify the main tasks and content of high-quality integrated development; sixthly, explore how to build an invisible Internet platform on tangible enclaves; seventhly, encourage the development of M & A investment with enterprises as the main body, and help to realize industrial cooperation and coordination; eighthly, the support of industrial policies is needed.
