Based on this position, it is not difficult to find the opportunity for Nanjing to rise as a national strategy in the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta:First, it echoes the strategies of other countries and serves as a bridgehead for the construction of "the Belt and Road Initiative" and an important support point for the national strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Second, we will pilot higher-quality development and reform and opening-up in the new era.The key to seizing the historical opportunity of the Yangtze River Delta's integrated development becoming a national strategy is that Nanjing should take the initiative, give full play to its advantages, provide more public goods and services, and form a comprehensive echo, integration and docking with other cities in terms of scientific and technological innovation and industrial development, so as to become the center in the active integration.First, echo Shanghai's leading position, give full play to its own advantages in scientific and technological innovation, industrial development, urban construction, science and education center and so on, radiate and drive the development of surrounding cities, especially Nanjing-Zhengjiang-Yangzhou and cities in Nanjing Metropolitan Coordinating Region.Second, provide more public goods and services in science, technology, finance and human resources to reach out to our neighbors, so as to achieve win-win results through cooperation and raise efficiency in competition.Third, take the initiative to study the establishment of a cross-border integration coordination mechanism.Fourth, actively build a national science center and an industrial innovation center.
