Although the main contradiction of China's economic operation is still the supply-side structural contradiction, it has shifted from the old stage dominated by ineffective excess capacity in the low end of the stock part to the new stage dominated by insufficient effective supply in the middle and high end of the incremental part. It is required to push forward the supply-side structural reform to adjust, which is the change in measures from subtraction to addition.The 2018 Central Economic Work Conference analyzed the current economic situation, and pointed out that there are changes in what was a generally stable economic performance, some of which caused concern. What’s more, we are facing a complicated and challenging domestic and international environment, and the economy is under new downward pressure. The main contradiction of China’s economic operation is still the supply-side structural contradiction, so we must continue to focus on the supply-side structural reform, aim at prominent problems, strengthen counter-cyclical adjustment, and do a good job in key campaigns.
