The "five correct grasps" proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping are the basic principles for promoting the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. In particular, it proposes to correctly grasp the relationship between breaking old kinetic energy and cultivating new kinetic energy, correctly grasp the relationship between self-development and coordinated development, and strive to build the Yangtze River Economic Belt into an organically integrated modern economic system, which has a very important guiding significance for the construction of a new domestic value chain mechanism for the coordinated development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The entry of the coastal areas of the Yangtze River Economic Belt into the global value chain is one of the main reasons for the widening economic development gap in the three major regions of the East, Central and West since reform and opening up. Under the new round of expanding domestic demand strategy, the establishment of a domestic value chain controlled by local enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region and the use of industrial transfer to drive the development of related industries in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River is one of the important ways and countermeasures to reduce regional development differences, achieve regional coordinated development, and finally complete the construction of modern industrial system. Therefore, efforts need to be made to cultivate the three major urban agglomerations in the Yangtze River Economic Belt into world-class urban agglomerations, and use the coordinated development of urban agglomerations to drive coordinated development among regions; to establish NVC with the support of the domestic demand market to promote industrial gradient transfer; and to combine the Belt and Road construction with the development strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, to build open NVC and GVC led by ourselves.
