The integration of the Yangtze River Delta refers to the process of continuously eliminating of various obstacles that hinder the flow of resources and factors among the governments of the four provinces and cities in the economic region and realizing their respective competition opening to the outside and full competition in the market. There are two dimensions to promote the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. One is to strengthen the infrastructure construction represented by transportation and communications, and to realize the interconnection of various regions.
