Looking back on the 70-year history of the founding of the people's Republic of China, the private economy of Jiangsu Province has experienced six stages of major historical development.1. Establishing the leading position of the socialist economy and protecting the private industry and commerce to resume production (June 1949 -- 1952)2. Public-private joint management and the completion of the transformation of capitalist industry and commerce, the realization of the public-owned economy, the emergence and difficult development of social industries (1953 -- November 1978)3. From the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to the early 1990s, the private economy started from scratch and faced twists and turns (December 1978-1991)4. Marked by Deng Xiaoping's important talks in the south, by the turn of the century, our country established and adhered to the basic socialist economic system. Jiangsu's private economy has developed steadily from less to more, from weak to strong. It accelerated the pace of internationalization (1992-2002)5. From the 16th CPC National Congress to the 17th CPC National Congress, Jiangsu adhered to "Two Unswervingly". Its private economy began to transform and upgrade, and developed well and rapidly (November 2002-2012)6., Under the guidance of the 18th and 19th CPC National Congresses, China entered the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, built the new type of government-business relationship, and promoted the spirit of outstanding entrepreneurs. The private economy of Jiangsu changed from big to strong and stepped into a new stage of high-quality development (November 2012 -). Jiangsu provincial Party committee and government actively and effectively protect and develop the private economy, which has valuable historical experience and enlightenment, mainly reflected in four aspects.1. Adhering to the leadership of the party is the fundamental guarantee for the healthy development of private economy2. "Top-level design" of reform and opening up is the biggest opportunity and dividend for the development of private economy in Jiangsu Province3. Emancipating the mind is a necessary prerequisite for the development of private economy in Jiangsu Province4. Respecting people’s pioneering spirit is an inexhaustible force for the development of private economy in Jiangsu Province
