Since General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed to build a socialist political economic system with Chinese characteristics, political economy has ushered in a spring of development. The study of political economy in the past has been virtually marginalized. Now political economy has entered the center of stage, but whether we can let it continue to be in the center of stage depends on our own research level. More importantly, we should make theoretical contributions to the development of our socialist economy with Chinese characteristics.
