On August 6th, 2019, the State Council approved the establishment of the Lingang area of the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone, and issued the Master Plan for the Lingang New District. It points out that the Lingang area is going to be made into a special economic functional zone with more international market influence and competitiveness, aiming at the strongest free trade zone with the international recognition. It is undoubtedly a higher reference to Jiangsu pilot free trade zone which has just been established.Referring to the main innovative highlights of the master plan for the Lingang new district, we can promote the system innovation of Jiangsu in the following aspects.1. We should learn from its experience to promote the specific implementation and the extraction of innovative experience of our province more effectively.2. We should actively connect with other regions and jointly build the Yangtze River Delta pilot Free Trade Zone group with high degree of integration, international competitiveness and great influence. 3. We should strengthen regional linkage, promote the industrial innovation and cooperation, and push forward a new round of high-quality development of Jiangsu Province by taking the advantage of the new area. 4. We should intensify the legislative guarantee, give full play to the initiative and enthusiasm of local innovation subjects, and jointly promote the innovative development of the pilot free trade zone in our province.
