Recently, the much anticipated “outline of the integrated regional development of the Yangtze River Delta” was issued. The Yangtze River Delta is going to promote higher-quality integrated development from a higher starting point. The Guangming think tank invited experts to analyze the outline.1. Integrated cooperation has a long history and its connotation is constantly enriched.The efforts that the Yangtze River Delta made on the integrated development in the past have gained full affirmation from the state. The regional high-quality development has entered into the stage of implementing and pushing forward the strategy, which means China will construct a united, competitive, open, orderly and strong domestic market.2. We should take on new mission and explore high quality development path.The Yangtze River Delta is one of the most favorable regions in China to take the lead to achieve high-quality development. At present, we need to improve the top-level structure, further eliminate market barriers, and promote the rational allocation of people's livelihood resources in the Yangtze River Delta. At the same time, it is of great importance to strengthen the institutional supply capacity, especially the ability of institutional innovation related to the opening-up and market competition.3. Turning vision into reality and breaking administrative barriers are important challenges.It is urgent for Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and Shanghai to take the initiative to break administrative barriers right now, making the market play a decisive role in the allocation of resources.4. We need to speed up the development through institutional and scientific innovation.In the existing pattern, G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor is the benchmark of ecological environment, which has great potential for scientific and technological innovation. Institutional and scientific innovation should become an important key point for the integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta.
