In the Yangtze River Delta region, Anhui's economic development level is relatively backward, and the income gap between urban and rural areas inside each province is very large. Therefore, it is necessary for local governments to formulate integrated economic policies. The process of European integration and European common agricultural policy are worthy of our reference.Reasons for Promoting Integration1. Safe and high-quality food supply needs the production of nearby agricultural areas.2. The development of green agriculture needs the coordination of unified policies in the Yangtze River Delta. 3. Ecological services, landscape, cultural heritage, social education and other functions need unified coordination and support.Suggestions for Promoting Integration1. Set up a cross-regional "agricultural coordination department" with actual policy function in the Yangtze River Delta. We can also raise part of the agricultural budget and distribute it inside the region.2. Formulate a consistent subsidy standard to balance the income gap between urban and rural areas, as well as among different regions.3. Formulate green and high-quality agricultural production areas, and provide subsidies to them in order to reduce agricultural pollution. 4. Set up a unified fund to support rural development projects. 5. Implement supervision and joint response to food safety across regions, and track food supply chain in the whole region to ensure the food safety.
