From the perspective of urban agglomeration and megalopolis, the outline depicts a grand vision for the future development of a world-class megalopolis.Based on the theory of urban agglomeration and metropolitan area, the Yangtze River Delta is a super city group. The essence of its integration is to enhance the competitiveness of China's megalopolis.At present, the administrative jurisdictions are not subordinate to each other, and the economic elements are allocated according to the market. In order to realize positive interaction, mutual benefit and win-win situation, it’s of great importance to achieve hierarchical empowerment, mismatched competition and integrated development.The most basic configuration for a city being suitable for both living and working includes convenient transportation, ecological livability, active economy and cultural tolerance. In general, many cities in the delta region have such basic characteristics. The one who gets talent wins the world.
