On December 6th, 2019, the Political Bureau meeting analyzed and studied the economic work in 2020, and highly appraised the new progress made by China's economy in the face of an extremely complex environment both at home and abroad since 2019. At the same time, the meeting pointed out that 2020 is the year of building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects and the end of the 13th Five-year Plan. We should try to transform external pressure into a powerful driving force for deepening the reform and opening-up, and concentrate on doing our own business well. It’s also important to thoroughly implement the spirits of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, transforming the institutional advantages of the economic work led by the party into governance effectiveness. The roundtable of Yangtze River industrial economic research institute learned the spirits of the meeting at the first time and discussed the situation and countermeasures of China's economy in the new year.
