Release time:2020-02-25Author: Liu Zhibiao

The sudden COVID-19 will have a great impact on China's industrial economic operation, industrial organization methods and industrial structure. Although this kind of influence will not change the general trend of China's economic operation in the long run, it will vary in nature and degree due to different industries, regions, and enterprises. Intuitively, the epidemic has had an irreversible and huge negative impact on the tertiary industry. Among them, the impact on the producer service industry may be greater than the impact on the life service industry. Compared with Chinese manufacturing, which is deeply integrated into the global value chain, the negative effect of the epidemic on China’s status as a world factory and modern industrial chain is greater than its impact on China’s services. Based on some practical problems that have emerged in the prevention and control of this epidemic, this article puts forward some policy recommendations that can continue to be discussed to promote the healthy development of China's industrial economy from a forward-looking perspective.
