Abstract: The Belt and Road Initiative is an open cooperation platform built by China and countries along the route. China is committed to helping countries along the route to narrow the development gap, share development results, and create a development community that shares weal and woe and destiny. The article uses the GTAP method to simulate and analyze the pan-regional poverty alleviation effect of China's support policies for countries along the Belt and Road Initiative based on the cooperation framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. The research conclusions show that China can use the "One Belt One Road" Initiative to focus on the production capacity cooperation of labor-intensive industries with underdeveloped countries with abundant unskilled labor resources and severe poverty problems along the route. On the one hand, it can effectively resolve the plight of insufficient domestic labor supply. On the other hand, it can also help underdeveloped areas along the route to create more employment opportunities and alleviate their domestic poverty problems.
