General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China pointed out the direction for Jiangsu to accelerate the restoration of economic normality. To restore economic normality, the keys are resuming work and production, and revitalizing enterprises. We must implement various enterprise benefiting policies of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, the Provincial Committee and Government to help enterprises tide over difficulties, restore the ecological environment for industrial development to provide external conditions for the normal operation of enterprises, and promote the market-based reform of factors with breaking administrative monopoly as well as developing emerging industries to further stimulate vitality of the market and enterprises. In addition, we should also attach great importance to the resumption of work and production of foreign-funded enterprises, and do everything possible to ensure the normal operation of their global supply chains. This will not only help Jiangsu's economy restore normality, but enhance the long-term confidence foreign investment holds towards Jiangsu. Thus, it is quite important to achieve as follows: firstly, ensure the smooth operation of the industrial chain and supply chain of foreign trade enterprises, especially the foreign-funded enterprises that possess key links, master core components and form key module production; secondly, practically implement the national treatment of foreign-funded enterprises; thirdly, vigorously promote new types of business in foreign trade and develop digital trade.
