On April 2nd, the international well-known journal Diplomatic published an open letter named An Open Letter to People from All Walks of Life in the United States in joint names of 100 Chinese Scholars, calling for global solidarity and cooperation from the perspective of the community with a shared future for mankind.The 100 Chinese scholars are experts on various professional fields, including philosophy, political science, medicine, economics, international relations, sociology, law, communication, military science, and technology, among which some are university professors from Wuhan.In the open letter, Chinese scholars said that we have heard many voices that politicize and stigmatize the epidemic recently. We believe that it will not assist China, the United States and the world to jointly curb the spread of the largest infectious disease epidemic in decades. It’s of no help for the healthy development of China-US relations and the well-beings of people in China, the United States and other countries. We are willing to share our views with American friends sincerely.
