COVID-19 has shaken the basic rules of global manufacturing to a certain extent, and will destroy China's long-term global value chain ecosystem established under an export-oriented strategy. This chaos will change the environment of China's manufacturing industry and will also affect China's normal economic operations. Therefore, to consolidate the position of China's supply chain, the formation of industrial clusters must be accelerated. In addition, the current rise of anti-globalization is not conducive to the improvement of the global industrial chain. China will respond to the problems brought about by anti-globalization with a more open attitude and a positive attitude. After the pandemic, efforts need to be made in the following directions:First, to build a stronger industrial cluster, China should increase its R&D efforts and strengthen its patent strategy, thereby relying on intensive R&D investment and other means to strengthen the industrial chain.Second, it is necessary to upgrade the economic globalization based on the western market with exportsas the mainstay as soon as possible to an economic globalization based on the domestic market that uses domestic demand as the mainstay;Furthermore, in the future, coordinated actions should be taken within the cluster. China's global industrial chain cluster lacks synergy. We should encourage competition between clusters, which will contribute to cluster optimization.
