China has the advantage of domestic production based on a solid foundation. At present, there is a trend of anti-globalization in the world, and the status of China's world factory has been challenged. However, the structure of the world industrial chain is gradually formed under the influence of economic laws, and is the result of continuous optimization of the allocation of production factors under the control of market laws. Therefore, although its future evolution trend will be affected by geopolitics, it cannot completely violate the objective economic laws. After the epidemic, East Asia, dominated by China, Japan, and South Korea, will become the destination of the fourth round of global industrial transfer after the war due to a series of reasons. In order to form a manufacturing highland in Asia, we must review the current situation, clarify the direction and path of global industrial chain reorganization and change, consolidate the software and hardware infrastructure for the clustered development of the industrial chain, create an industrial ecology in the industrial Internet era, and accelerate the digital transformation of traditional industries, which will further consolidate the international competitiveness of China’ industries. One is to ensure the safety and control of key industrial chains by making up for shortcomings; the second is to enhance the competitive advantages of the industrial chain by building industrial chain clusters; the third is to expand the living space of the local industrial chain through active layout.
