Whether in terms of output value scale or international competitiveness, traditional industries are an extremely important part of our country's real economy. General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized the need to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. The Seventh Plenary Session of the 13th Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee further proposed that it is necessary to adhere to the joint efforts of traditional industries and emerging industries, and not blindly "joying the new and disliking the old." Through "grinding" technology and "grafting" intelligence, traditional industries can fully catalyze the birth of new business formats, new models, and revitalize them. However, there are still many misunderstandings about traditional industries. Among these misunderstandings, most of them think that traditional industries are low-end and inefficient, and regard them as outdated industries. This kind of cognition is very unfavorable for Jiangsu to better play its role in traditional industries, deal with the huge downward pressure on the economy, and continue to be at the forefront of the country in high-quality development. First of all, traditional industries are not synonymous with low-end and low-efficiency. Nowadays, traditional industries are facing the opportunities and challenges of re-enabling. Continuous empowerment is the key to the timelessness of traditional industries. It is necessary to implement the upgrading of traditional industries under the guidance of "four synergy", that is, to build an industrial system with the coordinated development of the four elements of real economy, technological innovation, modern finance, and human resources.
