Recently, the 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services was solemnly held in Beijing. In the opening ceremony, President Xi Jinping put forward three initiatives in his speech. The first is to create an open and inclusive cooperation environment jointly. The second is to activate the cooperative kinetic energy led by innovation jointly. The third is to start a cooperative situation that features win-win. This is of great significance for boosting the global economy and promoting the resumption of work and production.China’s huge service trade deficit indicates that there’s a large demand for service industry. Developing service trade can further expand and satisfy the domestic demand, increase employment opportunities, optimize the industrial structure and promote the formation of the new development pattern.So, how to develop service trade, so as to promote the dual circulation? The writer thinks we should start from the following seven aspects.Firstly, accelerate the improvement of our innovative capability. Secondly, develop the high-end service industry vigorously. Thirdly, strengthen digital trade. Fourthly, promote service trade through commodity trade. Fifthly, give full play to the advantages of China’s project contracting. Sixthly, build the industrial cluster of service trade. Seventhly, expand the opening up of service trade.
