Since the Sino-US trade friction, China's information industry has been facing the stranglehold dilemma. During the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, we must give full play to our market advantages and institutional advantages, win the battle of core technology and break through the development bottleneck of core technology.Taking the sensor as an example, it is the basic core component of information technology. The data it collects is the blood of the information system. However, the huge domestic sensor market is mainly occupied by European and American international parts giants, which has become one of the biggest technology bottlenecks, restricting the development of digital transformation.In order to achieve the breakthrough from existing application scenarios, we must give full play to the market advantages and institutional advantages at a greater level and form a technological innovation system with an organic combination of various aspects of “Industry, University, Research and Application”. It is shown in the following aspects.Firstly, we should take market and application as the orientation, so as to accelerate the breakthrough in the field of sensor technology. Secondly, we should choose the breakthrough direction of industrial chain based on the application scenario. Thirdly, we should build the industrial chains’ alliance and improve the quality of the cooperation. Fourthly, we should strengthen the cooperation between industry, university and research, enhancing the innovative ability of enterprises.
