In order to thoroughly implement the general secretary's thoughts of ecological civilization, Jiangsu has comprehensively deployed the overall strategy of deeply promoting the construction of beautiful Jiangsu. Beautiful Jiangsu adheres to ecological priority and green development, and environmental protection service industry will undoubtedly become a new growth pole to stimulate development dividends with environmental demand. The development of environmental protection service industry in Jiangsu Province has entered a new stage of transformation and upgrading: the scale of environmental protection service industry is gradually expanding, but there is a lack of leading enterprises with global competitiveness; the innovation of environmental protection service industry is becoming more and more active, but the ability of green technology innovation needs to be improved; the agglomeration effect of environmental protection industrial park is becoming increasingly obvious, but the problem of low-level agglomeration is still prominent; the environmental protection policy system is becoming more and more perfect, but the policy system is not perfect. There are still shortcomings in policy formulation and implementation.Based on this, we put forward the following suggestions for the environmental protection service industry to help the construction of beautiful Jiangsu: cultivate new business forms and new models, build the environmental protection industry chain led by leading service enterprises; enhance the innovation ability of green technology, give play to the basic and forward-looking role of environmental protection technology; accelerate the transformation of innovative achievements, improve the industry-university-research collaborative innovation platform of environmental protection; strengthen the characteristics of the functions of the park, and shape the agglomeration and intensivism advantages of environmental protection service industry; clarify the relationship between the government and the market, create a fair and open market environment; optimize the support policies of environmental protection industry, improve the co-construction and sharing of environmental governance system.
