After the 2008 global financial crisis, people questioned the view that financial development can promote economic growth and began to rethink the relationship between economy and finance. This article uses China's related economic data and uses a symbiotic model to analyze and portray the symbiotic relationship of China's economy and finance. The research results show that China's economy and finance have an asymmetrical and mutually beneficial and symbiotic relationship, showing the Chinese characteristics of "symbiosis and mutual prosperity". This article believes that China’s financial industry adheres to the essence of finance servicing economic development, attaches importance to preventing financial risks and guaranteeing financial stability, and has successfully promoted the rapid development of China’s economy. Additionally, China has withstood the severe tests of previous financial crises, and basically realized the symbiosis and mutual prosperity of economy and finance. In the new era, China should deepen the supply-side structural reforms of finance, improve the ability of finance servicing high-quality economic development, and promote the continuous symbiosis and mutual prosperity of China's economy and finance.
