He also stressed the efforts to seek continuous results in the integration of the Yangtze River Delta through focusing on integrated and high-quality development.Nanjing can effectively connect Shanghai and Hefei, two comprehensive national science centers, by building the industrial innovation belt. In this way, Nanjing can also give full play to its advantages in science and innovation, industry and openness, further form the production capacity on the basis of technical research and development and dedicate to industrial transformation of new technologies and new forms of business. Thus, Nanjing can constantly cultivate and develop new economic growth points in the process of high-quality integration of the Yangtze River Delta.Specifically, in the process of building the industrial innovation belt, Nanjing should play its own advantages, take the initiative and drive collaborative industry-university-research innovation through the industrial chain. Nanjing also has to focus on cultivating advanced applicative talents, it has to build comprehensive national industrial innovation centers and be committed to the research of technology and the transformation of industry. It should also cultivate the “chain lord” of industrial chain, promote industrial control ability, and form one or several industrial clusters in the industrial belt. In the clusters of industrial chain, it should focus on mining its own unique advantages and making up the core weak links in the industrial chain. Between clusters, it can realize the coordination and division of labor of industrial chain by accelerating the construction of new infrastructure.
