On October 20, researcher Zhang Yueyou was invited to give an online lecture to the teachers and students of the School of Economics, Beijing International Studies University. The theme is "Several Matters of the Growth of Chinese Service Industry in the New Era of Economy". It includes the following four aspects:The first one is the growth stage of the service industry. During the 14th Five-year Plan period, China will enter a service-oriented society as a whole, which will become a consensus and have important theoretical significance for the division of the economic stage in China.The second is the growth discrimination of service sector, which must be corrected in the new economic era. Under the condition of open economy, China urgently needs to abandon export-oriented industrial globalization and accelerate the globalization of service industry based on domestic demand.The next is the growth efficiency of service sector. Industrial structure transformed along with the upgrading of industrial structure, but may lose efficiency. Therefore, China must develop the high value-added producer services, promote the development of service industry with high quality, with manufacturing services and service-oriented manufacturing as the gripper, promote the integration and positive interaction between advanced manufacturing industry and producer services.Last but not least, China will face a lot of industrial security problems when it enters the stage of a service-oriented society.
