The Central Economic Work Conference clarified the eight key tasks to be done next year, which can be summarized as next year's economic work should be carried out around the construction of a new development pattern. We should take security as the premise, science and technology self-reliance as the support, and coordinating the overall domestic and international situations to meet the people's growing needs for a better life as the fundamental goal.These eight tasks can be roughly divided into three parts: organizational guarantee, overall layout, and concrete actions in key areas. Among them, the first part is the first key task "strengthening the national strategic scientific and technological strength", which is the organizational guarantee for building a new development pattern; the second part includes the second, third and fourth key tasks , which are respectively "enhancing the independent and controllable ability of industrial chain supply chain", "adhering to the strategic basis of expanding domestic demand" and "comprehensively promoting reform and opening up", which are the overall layout of building a new development pattern；the third part includes the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth key tasks, which are respectively "solving the problem of seeds and cultivated land", "strengthening anti-monopoly and preventing the disorderly expansion of capital", "solving the prominent housing problem in big cities" and "doing a good job in carbon peaking and carbon neutralization", which are the concrete actions in key areas to build a new development pattern next year.
