Abstract: The centennial history of economic thought of the Communist Party of China is the history of the combination of Marxist economic theory with China's specific reality. In the 28 years before the founding of new China, the Communist Party of China has been committed to establishing a new democratic social system based on the new democratic economy. From the founding of new China to 1956, the party's central work began to turn to large-scale economic construction and socialist transformation. The central collective leadership with Mao Zedong as the core has creatively opened up a road of socialist transformation with Chinese characteristics by combining Marxist economic theory with China's specific reality. The Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee held in 1978 resolutely abandoned the wrong policy of "taking class struggle as the program" and really began to turn the work of the party and the state to economic construction as the center. At the same time, under the new historical conditions, CPC has opened up the historical process of exploring socialism with Chinese characteristics and formed the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics represented by Deng Xiaoping Theory, the Theory of Three Represents, and the Scientific Outlook on Development. Socialist economic thought with Chinese characteristics includes economic system, economic system, economic development, economic management, etc.
