As a developing country and the country with the largest carbon emissions in the world, China is facing greater pressure and challenges than developed countries in achieving the goals of peak carbon emission and carbon neutralization.Peak carbon emission and carbon neutralization are not only related to energy structure, but also to industrial structure. This paper holds that we should promote the development of low-carbon industry, promote the development of digital economy, promote the application of clean and low-carbon energy, and promote the research and development of energy-saving and low-carbon technologies.The government work report in 2021 lists "taking solid steps toward the goals of achieving peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality" as one of the key tasks of the year. Therefore, we should establish the concept of green development in the whole society, promote enterprises to apply new technologies and improve energy efficiency. Relevant government departments should support low-carbon environmental protection enterprises to expand their scale, build a carbon emission trading mode in line with China's actual situation, form an industrial structure and production mode of resource conservation and environmental protection, accelerate digital development, and better build a green and low-carbon circular development economy.
