Abstract: Since the 13th Five-Year Plan, Jiangsu has simultaneously realized the improvement of residents' income, labor compensation and people's living standards, counties (cities) have experienced rapid economic development and absolute poverty has been eliminated. In the new stage of fully embarking on the new journey of modernization, Jiangsu needs to focus on the two main lines of narrowing the urban-rural development gap and regional coordination around the connotation of common prosperity in the modernization stage, and create a Jiangsu example of regional common prosperity. At present, the main restrictive factors of Jiangsu's regional common prosperity are: the effect of economic development on enriching the people still needs to be improved, there is still a gap in regional economic development, and the bottleneck and short board of regional coordination still exist. In the future, Jiangsu should consolidate the institutional foundation for rural revitalization, make up for the shortcomings of rural infrastructure, promote the integrated development of urban and rural industries, and enhance the synergy of urban and rural development; Use the construction of main functional areas to reshape the regional economic geography, promote the development of urban clusters along the river, enhance the industrial transfer between the north and the south, and build a new pattern of provincial and regional integrated development.
