Entering a new stage of development, Jiangsu should follow the requirements set forth by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection of Jiangsu, and have a new understanding and new positioning of its own development status and role in the country.Under the new dual circulation development pattern, Jiangsu should recognize the opportunities and challenges brought by the new development pattern and strive to become a world advanced manufacturing center connecting domestic and foreign needs and a node for gathering resources inward and outward. Jiangsu should strive to become a transportation hub, science and technology hub, trade hub, financial hub and information hub under the dual circulation pattern. During the 14th Five Year Plan period, Jiangsu should transform the export-oriented globalization strategy into a globalization strategy based on domestic demand on the basis of firmly implementing the expansion of domestic demand; Promote the integration of the Yangtze River Delta, the whole province, and build a unified market. We should also build various platforms to siphon global scientific and technological innovation resources and vigorously develop modern producer services. The focus of industrial policy should be on the construction of modern industrial chain and industrial chain cluster led by strategic emerging industries.
