[Abstract] The high-quality development of manufacturing industry in the Yangtze River Delta is inseparable from the high-quality integration of the Yangtze River Delta, which in the final analysis is industrial integration and market integration. The deep integration of manufacturing industry and service industry is an important path of high-quality integration in the Yangtze River Delta. The integration rate index is constructed based on the two levels of input and output. Using the input-output tables of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui from 2002 to 2017 and China's Interregional input-output tables, this paper measures the integration of manufacturing and service industries in the Yangtze River Delta and the industrial correlation between the Yangtze River Delta and outside the region. The research found that: First, the integration rate of the Yangtze River Delta during the sample period experienced a development stage of first decline and then rise. Shanghai and Anhui's equipment manufacturing industries have relatively high integration rates, while Jiangsu and Zhejiang have relatively high integration rates for traditional manufacturing industries. Second, the spreading effect of Shanghai's leading companies is not significant, but it is increasing. Anhui has not yet deeply integrated into the Yangtze River Delta. Third, the industries within the Yangtze River Delta region are relatively closely related, but are less closely related to industries outside the region. To realize the high-quality integration of the Yangtze River Delta through the deep integration of manufacturing and service industries, we need to promote it from five aspects: realizing the decisive role of the market in factor allocation, reshaping the industrial chain of the Yangtze River Delta, promoting the smooth flow of service factors, optimizing system design and promoting the integration of industry, university and research institutes.
