General secretary Xi Jinping delivered an important speech at the 100th anniversary conference of the Communist Party of China, pointing out that on the new journey, we should "make more notable and substantive progress toward achieving well-rounded human development and common prosperity for all".As a major coastal economic province in the East, Jiangsu's economic development level is in the forefront of the country. For 11 consecutive years, the per capita GDP ranks first among all provinces (regions) in China. The transformation and upgrading of industrial structure has achieved remarkable results, the urban-rural income gap has continued to narrow, the coordinated development of regional economy has been steadily promoted, and the task of poverty alleviation has been successfully completed, laying a solid material foundation for achieving common prosperity.This paper provides three suggestions for building an example of common prosperity in Jiangsu, and makes a detailed demonstration, including promoting equal opportunities, improving the redistribution system and narrowing the income gap; Increase farmers' income through multiple channels and improve the public service quality of urban-rural integration; innovate the regional linkage development model and speed up the overall infrastructure construction.
