In August 17th, Xi Jinping chaired the tenth meeting of the Central Committee on finance and economics, and studied the issues of promoting common prosperity, and put forward the need to "shape a development environment that provides chances for more people to become wealthy".Unblocking the upward flow channel of the bottom class is the inevitable choice to achieve common prosperity. Firstly, this paper summarizes three main manifestations of the increasingly narrow upward flow channel of China's social class, namely, the enhancement of the monopoly of economic and social resources, the "early rich" competition for scarce resources in society squeezes the development space of the "later rich", and the insufficient supply of government fair and inclusive public service security. Then, it points out the problems existing in China's urbanization, industrialization and governance structure, and analyzes the deep-seated reasons for the obstruction of the upward flow of social class. Finally, it provides countermeasures for opening up the upward flow channel of China's social class from four aspects: antitrust, public services, the proportion of middle-income people and the mode of income distribution.
