The transaction costs among multinational enterprises have increased significantly, resulting in the shortening of the manufacturing industry chain with more division of labor such as automobile and electronics.
Then it points out that China's manufacturing industry is facing a severe external environment, and the comparative advantage based on factor cost is gradually disappearing. We should build a global value chain centered on China to attract high-end elements such as capital, technology and talents into China. Make good use of China's super large-scale market to create its own brand. Take advantage of domestic market advantages and regional development differences to realize the gradual transfer of manufacturing industry to the central and western regions, so as to promote the rational industrial layout and regional coordinated development.
