On the morning of October 13, the 2021 (9th) Jiangsu Business Development Conference and Huai'an Economic High-quality Development Forum were held in Huai'an. 600 Jiangsu businessmen from both inside and outside of Jiangsu Province gathered together to explore the advantages of industrial innovation, seize opportunities for transformation and upgrading, and open the chapter for regional joint development.
Xu Ming, former member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, vice governor, president of the theoretical research association of the CPPCC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, and distinguished researcher of the Yangtze River Industrial Economics Research Institute of Nanjing University, attended the event and made a wonderful report entitled "Enterprise Opportunities in the Process of Integration in the Yangtze River Delta". He believes that China's Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is the most potential urban agglomeration among the world's six major urban agglomerations and the most competitive urban agglomeration among China's five major urban agglomerations. In his speech, he expounded the development opportunities brought by the integration of the Yangtze River Delta for enterprises from four aspects: industrial upgrading, participation in construction, technological innovation and attracting talents.
