On October 15, the Yangtze River Industry and Economic Think Tank held a bi-monthly forum seminar, focusing on the “recouple” of the global industrial chain in the post-epidemic era, and invited experts from internationally renowned think tank institutions to share this topic. The content of the guest speeches was compiled and published. In this issue, the editor released the speech "International Cooperation in Industrial Chain and Corporate Governance" by Yuan Changchun, founding partner of Broad & Bright Law Firm and PhD of Law from Stanford University.


He first talked about the importance of corporate governance in the international cooperation of industrial chain, and pointed out that corporate governance is not only an economic problem, but also a legal problem. Standardizing corporate governance is the requirement of internationalization. Then he analyzed the weak points of China's corporate governance and discussed the cultural and social roots. Finally, he proposed that Chinese companies should abide by rules and laws and participate in international cooperation in the industrial chain through standardized governance.
