Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party over the Past Century points out that "opening up was a crucial move in making China what it is today". China's accession to the WTO 20 years ago greatly promoted the process of reform and opening up and opened a new era of China's integration into economic globalization and win-win development with the world.
This paper analyzes the development opportunities brought by China's entry into WTO and China's drive to the world economic growth. Opening up has not only promoted development, but more importantly, promoted market-oriented reform and formed a socialist market economic system with Chinese characteristics. This makes China's market economy laws and regulations in line with the laws and regulations prevailing all over the world, thus laying a solid foundation for the development of market economy. China's accession to the WTO has changed the pattern of global multilateral trade and changed the major direction of global trade, which is beneficial to people all over the world. The 20-year history since China's accession to the WTO has fully proved that the world economy is inseparable from China and China's development is inseparable from the world.
