On December 27, Yangtze IDEI held a bimonthly forum seminar with the theme of "How can reforms stimulate market vitality under triple pressure?". This issue publishes Professor Han Jian's speech "Seize the Opportunity of RCEP To Take Effect and Create a World-Class Business Environment".
Professor Han Jian believes that joining RCEP is like China's second accession to the WTO, and analyzes the main terms involved in RCEP agreement in terms of services, communications, intellectual property rights, e-commerce, trade relief, government procurement and so on. He believes that in the face of the triple pressure of supply shock, demand contraction and weakening expectation of the current open economy, we should start with institutional opening and continue to create a market-oriented, legalized and international first-class business environment.
