Since the reform and opening up, township industry has taken the lead in rising in southern Jiangsu. In the context of industrialization and urbanization, the vivid practice of Donglin village shows that focusing on agriculture and grain production, relying on rural collective economic organizations, relying on advanced technology and scientific management paradigm, we can achieve industrial prosperity and rural civilization as well.
Firstly, this paper introduces the practical process of Donglin village becoming a well-known new model of Rural Revitalization. It is realized by relying on collective economic organizations, developing ecological circular agriculture, promoting the deep processing of agricultural products and building cultural tourism projects. Then, by reviewing the development process of Donglin village, this paper summarizes three key points for its success: 1. The leadership of new rural leaders; 2. The support of emerging agricultural technologies; 3. The role of collective economic organizations. Finally, the author points out that the vivid practice of Donglin village has a great encouraging effect on the villages that still stick to the front line of agriculture. Its practice is of great significance to ensure food security, enhance ecological civilization and promote common prosperity. Also, its development experience is worth summarizing and popularizing.
