Firstly, through the analysis of developed countries, this paper highlights the importance of agricultural service industry, and introduces the content of agricultural service industry. Then, it summarizes the three experiences of agricultural service industry in developed countries such as Europe, America and Japan to help improve food security and agricultural competitiveness. 1. Focus on specific fields and break through the development bottleneck. 2. Strengthen agricultural financial services for agriculture. 3. Establish a public-private dual track agricultural extension system and pay attention to the development of agricultural consulting industry. Finally, it analyzes the main problems faced by the development of China's agricultural service industry, including lack of enthusiasm for service agriculture, small organization scale, lack of business standards, abuse of market power, etc., and provides five targeted suggestions for standardizing and supporting the development of China's agricultural service industry: 1. Build an agricultural service industry system 2. Guide the integration of service organizations and create "little giants", or leading small and medium enterprises that specialize in niche sectors 3. Innovate systems and mechanisms and improve the efficiency of agricultural technology extension service organizations in supporting agriculture 4. Expand the scope of agricultural financial services 5. Guard against the abuse of market power by agricultural digital service departments
