We recently conducted a special study on the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war and COVID-19 on China's economy. It mainly uses the Global Trade Analysis Projiect (GTAP) to calculate the impact of Russia-Ukraine war and the COVID-19 resurgence on China's economic growth goals under the set conditions and scenarios, analyzes the macroeconomic effects of this impact in the short term and the medium and long term, and puts forward some prioritized and targeted opinions and suggestions on how to do a good job in China's economic work in the next period of time. We believe that in this year's economic development, we should focus on guarding against the overall stagflation of the economy. We should not only prepare a complete system of policy tools and macro-control resources, but also resolutely curb the inflation trend characterized by high primary product prices. In addition, under the background of local resurgence of the epidemic, enterprises and the public should restore good confidence as soon as possible, and reverse the downward pressure on the economy caused by weakening expectations and declining demand.
