On April 17th, the Changjiang Institute of Industry and Economics of Nanjing University held a bimonthly forum seminar on the theme of Accelerating the Construction of a Unified National Market, and invited famous domestic experts and scholars to share their views on this topic. This journal issues the main contents of Professor Lu Ming's speech.
Professor Lu first proposed that we should establish a long-term, overall and multi-dimensional development goal in the process of modernization, and discussed how to achieve this goal from the perspective of the market and the government; Then, he made some economic explanation of the unified national market in the form of formulas and charts; In particular, it puts forward the problem of labor loss in the unified market, and analyzes the factors that hinder the free flow of labor from the two aspects of system and concept; Finally, the agglomeration and balance in the unified market are analyzed.
