Release time:2022-05-27Author: Zhang Yueyou、Liu Zhibiao

China's economic growth slowed down in the first quarter, and the steady start did not come easily. The main problems in China's current economic circulation are related to the impact of contractionary policies and the impact of the epidemic on the normal operation of enterprises. Based on data analysis, this paper believes that with the improvement of the epidemic control and prevention, the worst period of this year's economy is passing, and it is expected that China's economy will have the conditions and ability to maintain a growth rate of 5.5% in 2022. Focusing on the proactive fiscal policy and revitalization of the service industry, the following policy recommendations are put forward for stabilizing economic growth and maintaining job security.

First, we should correctly understand the characteristics of China's potential output growth, maintain a reasonable and appropriate monetary policy, and give full play to the proactive fiscal policy.

Second, fully implement the deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council to dredge the supply chain, and actively promote the resumption of work and production and smooth transportation and logistics.

Third, revitalize the service industry by focusing on the productive service industry.

Fourth, we should give full play to the role of the government, correct excessive contractionary policies, and meet the reasonable housing needs of residents.
