Firstly, based on the analysis of China's economic data in the first quarter, this paper concludes that China's economic growth slowed down but did not stall in the first quarter. Then it is concluded that the main problems of China's current economic circulation are related to the existence of contractionary policies and the destruction of normal operation of enterprises by excessive epidemic control and prevention. With the improvement of the epidemic control and prevention, the worst period of this year's economy is passing, and it is expected that China's economy will have the conditions and ability to maintain a growth rate of 5.1% and strive for 5.5% in 2022. Finally, the following policy recommendations are made for stabilizing economic growth.
First, we should correctly understand the characteristics of China's potential output growth, maintain a reasonable and appropriate monetary policy, and give full play to the proactive fiscal policy.
Second, fully implement the deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council to dredge the supply chain, and actively promote the resumption of work and production and smooth transportation and logistics.
Third, revitalize the service industry by focusing on the productive service industry.
Fourth, we should give full play to the role of the government, correct excessive contractionary policies, and meet the reasonable housing needs of residents.
